We offer an alternative to traditional Halloween celebration which is both safer, and more meaningful to our beliefs about the soul. If you have truly accepted Jesus as your Savior, then you trust Him. He says that He is making a place for you so that where He is, you might be also. It is the ultimate goal of the Christian to be at home with the Lord. Do you know Him? Come join the fellowship!
Every year we remember those who serve as our first responders. Whether police or firefighter, we honor their service to our community by stopping by their stations and saying, “Merry Christmas” with fresh boxes of Krispy Kreme donuts. Contact Steve Chandler or the church office (817) 221-2184 if you would like to participate.
There will be a luncheon in the Fellowship Hall for the family immediately following the funeral service. The graveside will be at 3:00pm at Mt Olivet. Visitation will be at Mt Olivet on Tuesday evening from 6:00pm – 8:00 pm.
We do ask, for the sake of the most vulnerable, that human contact be limited and handshakes be avoided. We are practicing fist bumps and waving throughout our congregation. We can’t wait for this COVID-19 threat to pass so that we can resume with normal human touch.
