If you are on a committee for this year, you are encouraged to attend this luncheon for committee members. After the luncheon, you will be able to meet with your committee for electing officers, establishing meeting dates, and setting some initial goals for the year. You can bring your family to the luncheon, but we do not have nursery or child-care provided. If you have any questions, you may contact the church office at 817-221-2184.
Some items for discussion:
- check-in/pick-up system
- forms- allergies, alerts, etc
- communication with parents in service
- rotation of parents and volunteers
- troubleshooting problems manning both nursery and toddler areas
- policies concerning snacks brought in- some children allergic to nuts, gluten, etc.
There will be a luncheon in the Fellowship Hall for the family immediately following the funeral service. The graveside will be at 3:00pm at Mt Olivet. Visitation will be at Mt Olivet on Tuesday evening from 6:00pm – 8:00 pm.
We do ask, for the sake of the most vulnerable, that human contact be limited and handshakes be avoided. We are practicing fist bumps and waving throughout our congregation. We can’t wait for this COVID-19 threat to pass so that we can resume with normal human touch.
