Sign-up for one of our HOME GROUPS. We will have at least 4 Home Group locations. You will get to know your church much better in a small group setting. Also, you will find out that you are not alone in the struggles you may have. An honest search of the scriptures for God’s guidance for living the Christian life is the goal of each HOME GROUP. Come join us! The Sign-Up Sheets will be available this Sunday and Wednesday.
We will meet in the Fellowship Hall at 4:30pm on Tuesday, March 5th. Some of the items we need to discuss:
- Collaboration with the Nominating Committee to fulfill background checks for prospective teachers who have given consent through the teacher application form. We need to determine how Nominating Committee needs get communicated to us, and how we communicate with applicant and Nominating Committee with background results.
- Determine who needs CPR training. (We have a scheduled CPR training session on Saturday, April 6 here at NHBC)
- We need to look at posting our church rules regarding carrying weapons, concealed or otherwise.
- We need to look at a weekly rotation of “on duty” safety persons in the church. We need substitutes in case of illness, etc.
- We have a new camera systems not yet installed to look outside the children/youth building. Placement, installation, etc.
- We need to determine dates and plans for at least bi-annual sexual abuse training for teachers, helpers, etc.
IN CASE OF RAIN- we will still meet at Steve Chandler’s barn, near his house, for SUPPER Friday night at 7pm, BREAKFAST Saturday at 8am, and SUPPER Saturday evening at 7pm. Come enjoy the fellowship RAIN OR SHINE!
Come enjoy the fellowship with Christian men. Pick your excursion: fishing, golf, or clay shooting. This will be a campout event (no hook ups- sewer, electric, or water), but close enough if you want to go home for the night.
Fishing– bring your own tackle, no license required for private ponds, catch, take a picture (if you want) and release
Clay Shooting– bring your own shotgun & #8 (or less) lead shot ammo; we will provide the clays (up to 30) NO OTHER FIREARMS! SHOTGUNS ONLY
