Steve Chandler’s Sunday School Class, “3D Class”, will go in the church bus to the Parker County Candlelight Tour.  We will meet at the church parking lot and leave on the church bus.  If you are in the class, or an associate member (you teach elsewhere in the church), or simply a prospect of the class, please join us on the Christmas excursion to the Weatherford area.  If you have questions, call Kathy Bender at 817-319-1492.

We will meet in the Fellowship Hall at 4:30pm on Tuesday, March 5th.  Some of the items we need to discuss:

1.  Collaboration with the Nominating Committee to fulfill background checks for prospective teachers who have given consent through the teacher application form.  We need to determine how Nominating Committee needs get communicated to us, and how we communicate with applicant and Nominating Committee with background results.
2. Determine who needs CPR training.  (We have a scheduled CPR training session on Saturday, April 6 here at NHBC)
3. We need to look at posting our church rules regarding carrying weapons, concealed or otherwise.
4. We need to look at a weekly rotation of “on duty” safety persons in the church.   We need substitutes in case of illness, etc.
5. We have a new camera systems not yet installed to look outside the children/youth building.  Placement, installation, etc.
6. We need to determine dates and plans for at least bi-annual sexual abuse training for teachers, helpers, etc.

We are running the bus routes again to help those without transportation be able to attend church again.  To help us avoid the spread of Covid-19 we need cooperation with the following:

1.  parental permission slip for minors to ride the bus
2.  parental form that the child(ren) has not knowingly been exposed to anyone with Covid-19
3.  masks should be worn on the bus, except where medical or mental conditions exist to prohibit their use.  They should be socially distanced from others who have not quarantined with them.
4.  please call the church at 817-221-2184 if you would like to be picked up by one of our church buses
