The first believers realized their urgent need to get their lives right with God. Theirs was a natural question, “What shall we do?” If ever there was a people who truly lived in “end times”, it must be us. Jesus will come in the twinkling of an eye! What should we do to prepare, as indeed, our lives are short, whether He comes first or we die? Hear what Peter told the very first believers. Those believers lived in obedience to God’s direction and the new church began to spread the news of Jesus. Our lives have been forever changed, on the face of the earth, because of those early days of the church.
