Remembering Jesus’ death on the cross and what that means for all of us who believe is the focus of Good Friday. One sure thing for all who’ve ever been born is that we die. One unsure thing is whether in the midst of living, we forgive. Jesus’ selfless sacrifice for all believers was His painful death and His costly forgiveness. We are forgiven and pardoned because Jesus died for us, “that none should perish, but have everlasting life.” Have you accepted that gift from God?
