Repentance is a change of direction. Repentance towards God is changing your path away from God to a path with God. Jesus warned the large crowds following Him for all He could give them, the true cost of discipleship would require a radical change in priority. Have you counted the cost of following Jesus? For Paul and all other true believers, the cost has been counted and considered far less valuable than the eternal benefits of walking in a trusting relationship with Jesus. Listen to what Jesus told the crowds attracted to His ministry.
