This passage in Mark 11 is perhaps the most controversial scripture in the Bible. We have looked at the declaration, where Jesus told His disciples, “he will have whatever he says”. We now look at the question, where Jesus told His disciples, “whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them”. The health, wealth, prosperity gospel was born out of this passage. So what does it really mean? Jesus said it. There must be truth in it. Listen to what the Bible says about declaring and asking.
